What Tarot Club is

Tarot Club is a tarot-based tool for reflection, self-knowledge and entertainment. It offers a card of the day, spreads, interpretation generated by artificial intelligence on the device itself, read-aloud and a reading journal.

The app does not predict the future and does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial or any other professional advice. Interpretations are automatically generated prompts for reflection and may contain inaccuracies. Important decisions are yours to make, with professional support when needed. If you are in distress, please seek help from a local crisis line or emergency service.

Who may use it

Tarot Club is intended for adults aged 18 and over. By using the app you confirm that you are 18 or older. Accounts belonging to minors will be deleted when identified.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity on your account.
• The information you provide when signing up must be accurate.
• You can export your data and delete your account at any time in the app settings. Deletion erases the journal and cannot be undone.

Acceptable use

When using Tarot Club, you agree not to:

• use the app for unlawful purposes or to harass, offend or expose other people;
• record sensitive data about third parties in readings for someone else (prefer nicknames);
• copy, resell, reverse-engineer or try to bypass the app's limits, purchases or security mechanisms;
• present the app's interpretations as predictions or as professional advice.

Free plan and Premium

The free plan lets you use the app with daily limits and may show ads. Premium is a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription that raises those limits, unlocks the full deck and every theme and card style, and removes ads. Each plan's features are described in the app and may be adjusted over time, without taking away free basic reflection.

• Billing: subscriptions and purchases are processed by Google Play, at the price shown in the store at the time of purchase.
• Free trial: monthly and yearly plans may include a 7-day trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, billing starts automatically.
• Renewal: the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
• Cancellation: cancel anytime in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions). Access continues until the end of the period already paid, and your history stays with you.
• Refunds: follow Google Play's policies and the consumer rights that apply to you.

One-off purchases

Themes, card styles, bundles and ad removal can be bought separately through Google Play. Purchased items remain available in your account for as long as the app is offered, with or without Premium. If the rights to use a card style cannot be confirmed, it may be withdrawn from the store pending review; meanwhile, anyone using it returns to the Rider-Waite-Smith deck.

Intellectual property

The Tarot Club name, icon, design, texts and software belong to Claudio Soares. Deck artwork is in the public domain or used under licence, with credit shown in the app (for example, “Soimoi Tarot” by Mike Koz, CC BY 4.0 licence).

The notes you write in your journal are yours. You authorise us to store them and show them only to you, in order to provide the service.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the app running, but it may have interruptions, bugs or changes. The full interpretation depends on the device (64-bit, at least 4 GB of RAM and free space); on simpler phones the app offers the alternatives described on the home page. We may discontinue the app with reasonable prior notice, making sure you can export your data.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made based on the app's readings or interpretations, nor for indirect damages arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that consumer protection law grants you.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account whenever you want. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, with notice whenever possible.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any dispute will be settled in the courts of the consumer's domicile. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. If the Portuguese and English versions differ, the Portuguese version prevails.
